Eider Arenaza-Urquijo

Dr. Eider Arenaza-Urquijo is a senior postdoctoral researcher at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM, Caen, France). She obtained her PhD degree at the University of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) and conducted a research stay at the University of California, Berkeley (California, US). The central focus of her research work is to understand the neural underpinnings of normal cognition in the setting of Alzheimer’s disease pathology. Her research notably focuses on how lifestyle factors (e.g., cognitive and physical activities) influence brain structure and function, associate with Alzheimer’s disease pathological processes and interact with genetic risk.
